At 3fe, the goal has always been to create excellent cups of coffee. Since opening the Dublin roastery in January 2014, this focus has remained unchanged. The café on Grand Canal Street collaborates closely with the roastery, maintaining a constant channel of feedback and data to ensure every cup served is of the highest quality.


The roastery is the brainchild of co-owner Steve Leighton, who meticulously sourced all the equipment and is responsible for sourcing all the coffee. Steve travels to the best farms and co-ops worldwide, establishing relationships with producers to ensure mutual benefit and a strong feedback loop, ultimately leading to better coffees in future harvests.
