Toronto
Here's my experience at the roastery, cafe and event space at 50 Wade Avenue, Toronto.
The room feels expansive with its high ceilings, creating an open and airy ambiance. The warm wooden tables and chairs contribute to a warm and relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect to enjoy your favorite brew. Overhead, string lights add a touch of charm, while the counter area, featuring modern hexagonal tiles and a chalkboard drawing of a propeller, tieing in their overall branding. When I visited early in the morning, the large industrial windows flooded the room with golden light, making it an ideal setting for photos — and a gentle reminder that I need more plants at home!
As for Propeller, they are committed to sourcing from only the most experienced and knowledgeable farmers, ensuring they receive the highest quality specialty beans. These coffees are exceptional, often rare, and worth the extra effort to obtain. At Propeller, they take great pride in ensuring that every batch of coffee they roast meets or exceeds their customers' expectations. To achieve this, they meticulously cup and analyze every batch, maintaining the high standards their customers trust.
